Project: Village of Brown Deer—Bradley Road Median Project
The Village of Brown Deer installed a biofiltration median that captures up to 55,000 gallons every time it rains. W. Bradley Road was reconstructed with a “reverse crown" to direct water from the outside curbs towards new median rain gardens. The new median creates safe pedestrian crossings and bicycle lanes. Brown Deer's leadership on green infrastructure reflects its commitment to educating the public about the environment and protecting Southbranch Creek and the Great Lakes system.
