Gardening for Bees, Birds and Butterflies - Go Native!

Shorewood Public Library
3920 N. Murray Ave.
Shorewood, WI 53211

Learn all about these winged beauties that visit and beautify our yards.  Discover tips to attract these important pollinators and about the native plants they love.  You will take home native plants and seeds to plant and a list of native plants and shrubs, annuals, and herbs that these pollinators adore, including Shorewood's official native plant the Butterfly Weed.  You'll also receive a copy of the new Shorewood Water Walking Tour Guide that will show you locations all over the Village using innovative stormwater management parcatices -- green infrastructrure -- and the use of native plants.

Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) will share information on using and installing rain barrels and will have a limited number to give away!

Brought to you by the Village of Shorewood, the Shorewood Waters Project and Conservation Committee, and MMSD.
